We are an all breed club welcoming members with varying levels of experience from those who are new to the sport to those who have competed at the highest level. Our goal as a club is to work together to help members attain their schutzhund (IGP) titles, and if desired compete in regional, national and international events. As a club we stress the importance of maintaining a supportive, fun and family friendly environment. If you bring the enthusiasm and commitment we will provide the experience to help you achieve the highest level possible for you and your dog.


CSC exists for the purpose of training dogs for the sport of IGP (formerly Schutzhund and IPO). We do this in an atmosphere that is fun and respectful of each other and our dogs. Each club member strives to train their dog(s) to their potential and reach their own personal goals.

We want to take this time and thank you for visiting Chattahoochee's website. We hope you find time to visit us in person.  Visitors are allow to visit club training on Saturday’s. Before your first visit, you will need to contact the training director, Tracy Betenbaugh, at betenhaus@gmail.com.

Things to know on your first visit

Safety is our number one priority. You are to have control of your dog at all times.

Things you will need:  Fur saver or buckle collar, leash, treats, motivational toy, water bowl and airline approved crate (no wire crates).

During protection work, all dogs not working at the time will be in their crate unless the training director directs otherwise.

Member dogs will be worked first, followed by the guests. Note, the final order may be modified by the training director as needed.

Their will be a $25.00 training fee for each dog that is tested in protection.

We encourage all visitors to watch, listen and enjoy the training sessions.
